Why don't you all meet up at the signing on area at the start. You could do it as an unofficial team?

Did it a couple of years ago nice ride you quickly get out of the east end of london (if my memory serves me right) the traffic was fairly light and the route through the east end wasn't that bad. We were off at circa 8.15 am.

There was one big climb out of chigwell but it wasn't that bad. and once out it is fairly flat. Watch as you loop through canewdon there is a horrible little hill which if you were riding fresh would is a breeze but at circa 47 miles ish it can be a lot tougher and as you drop down into southend the wind can be a bit of a bummer (depending on direction)

Yeah meeting up isn't a bad idea...I'm hoping to have an easy time getting to Victoria park as I'll just ride along the canal from Camden to get there...

Sounds like I'm going to need to do some hill training...

Not sure if thats a question or a statement as you have the ? at the end but if the former, I signed up on the day (2 years ago). it does cost a few quid extra though. Not sure of exact amount but don't think it was anywhere near a fiver to do so. Not as many do L2S as opposed to L2B.
