Anyone else not based in London or Brighton finding it awkward to plan getting to and from the ride without having to carry a backpack with you during the ride?

I might have room for a spare bike, but no person unfortunately, in my van for a transfer back to london.
I have two spare registrations for this years London to Brighton as me and friend who have done it the two previous years have been invited on a stag do (it was a tough choice), so unfortunately will not be getting our hat trick of medals. I have spoke to BHF and although I can not return the places, I can transfer the names. If anyone is interested in the pair, let me know.
