my first time on this last year, even though i rode it on my own thoroughly enjoyed it. Harder than the london-southend but i found this to be the more enjoyable one. May try and do it again this year

On my to do list for 2013,but i'll do it with a few friends of the cc parish at the height of summer and no school runs

From past experience:

Get an early start and stay ahead of the pack! Some walk up anything that is not pancake flat!

Yep , one fat bloke signed up here too. I hope I really get to grips with my clip in pedals because if people stop too quickly close to me it's a timmmmber moment followed by the immortal words of "oh ffs " :laugh:

You will need an early start then. Last year i started at approx 08:45 and the streets leading out were rammed, see 1 or 2 people come to grief because of clips.

The bike is all sorted setup and ready to go. Fat bloke still in training.
