OK I have been a member for less than 2 hours and already I have seen one thread locked because a few people asked a question. Is this a good indication of how things work around here? If so the tag line "A fun and friendly online cycling community" should read "A Cycling Forum Dictatorship"

Have a look in the support forum archives and you'll find the previous similar discussions.
I've invited the posters in the support thread to report things to me via PM so I can look into resolving them.

In my experience as a user I have only seen threads locked which seem to be either opening old wounds unnecessarily or have descended into petty arguments.

Strange, I would have thought 2 hours was a very short length of time to get a feel for a place, let alone start wading in about how it should be run. I defend your right to have an opinion and say it and all that jazz, but I also defend the right of people to query your stance and intent
