I've actually seen people at out of town type places get in their cars to drive from one shop to the next

I can top that - We use camping and caravan sites around the UK and regularly watch 4x4 drivers fire their diesels up in bad weather to visit the nearby ablutions, and leave them ticking over outside, before returning to their caravan and parking up.

I could understand it if they were disabled, but the only disability I see them with is a lack of waterproof skin.

.... and I'm not anti 4x4 brigade, as I've owned a few in the past for towing, its just that they are seen more often than not committing this heinous offence

the one in waltham forest and the one in Newham regularly contravene the parking laws . they don't like you taking pictures of it either

They have them round here. Only there are two guys on motorbikes wearing masks who follow them around and stand next to them with big signs pointing them out to other motorists. Brilliant!

I saw some ultimate lazy parking about two years ago. Picture this: A quiet sunday evening, a long empty parking bay outside a local shop and chippy, large enough for a bus. If you parked in the bay (which is free), you would have to walk about 3m across the pavement to get to the shop door. I popped along one night to get some groceries. As I walked home, I saw a car drive into the parking bay at one end (remember - the bay is entirely empty!), mount the pavement and drive along it to the shop doorway. I reckon the driver's door was almost scraping the step of the shop when he got out. What's wrong with some people, can't they walk 3 metres?. They guy seemed perfectly fit, about my age.

For me, this photo sums up the lazy, car dependent culture we live in:

Don't start me on car drivers at big supermarkets. Hundreds of empty spaces in the vast car park, but they still just HAVE to park at the front door of the shop in the taxi spaces or the disabled spaces, or the bit clearly signed "pick up or drop off only".... Lazy selfish arrogant pratts.

Ikea collection points.

You can tell who the scumbags are, because their car is parked front first and they are nowhere to be seen.

RAAAAAGE!
