Seriously (?) If it's done right, it can be great. If it's done wrong (like my mum used to do) it's like eating old tyres (complete with tubes).

Ever tried liver n onion Cornish Pasties? excellent fare.

Liver is best (imv)when very rare, barely waved over a candle, nice n red, lovely n tender. Watch the cholesterol though.

Last time she tried, she saw it wobble in the tray, :biggrin:....never again she said.

Liver and onions with bacon and mash, if cooked with a modicum of skill is one of our finest dishes.

Chicken livers, mmmmm. Excellent bottom trumpet fuel, too.

Foie gras: OK, but I can't see what all the fuss is about (or that the cruelty involved in its production can be justified).

Other livers: not for me. If they're not rare they're inedible, and if they are rare they're a bit hard to stomach.
