Would you want to be without them though? The only part of ninja cyclists in the dark riding black bikes w/o lights you can see are their pedal reflectors reflecting off your lights. Light would reflect of their front/back reflectors too if they hadn't have taken them off.

Pedal reflectors are this on a recumbent: fit for nothing but possibly reflecting the lights from the cockpit of any passing aircraft. On my Look pedals there's no place for pedal reflectors. This is true of many clipless pedal systems. So I wear retroreflective trouser clips or ankle bands. When I used standard platform pedals the reflectors were the first things to fall off. So I used retroreflective trouser clips or ankle bands.

What? Do they throw back a paisley "I'm tripping out" weird light then?

I wouldn't worry about not having BS light's especially if you have good ones on....

I was knocked off with this little lot last winter.. and "blinkies" on the side of my rucksack....driver didn't see me............ the case wasn't contested by the insurers.... I have since upgraded ........

With the exception of Shinano who do have reflector kits for their SPD's, the odd thing is most LBS's don't seem to sell them...
