Lifeline essential commuter tyres any good?

Not many reviews but the few reviews are positive, on offer at Evans at the minute but seem too cheap is there something I should know! Will be mainly road and pennine trail on my commute so nothing extreme. Thanks

Can’t go wrong at that price. More expansion is mostly about rolling resistance and tyre weight. Not important for a commute.

I had the 700c version from Wiggle - this is what they looked like after just a couple of months of low mileage use. Wasn't impressed

I had the lifeline race tyres although they looked the business they were really slow , in fact cheap zaffiros came out a lot better in tests than these tyres so i binned them in the end .Gawd only knows how bad the commuters must be .

I would say avoid. I had mine about a year and used them for commuting. Rolled OK, but the tyre separated from the bead quite dramatically and dumped me on the tarmac - I was lucky it was on a shared path and not on the road, or at speed. I've never had a tyre do that. I put the Schwalbe Landcruisers back on. I have seen other reviews where bead separation was mentioned.
