There were 30 odd stands in my local Lidl at 8.15 this morning. Bought one even though I've already had the older model.

This new model has a some significant improvements: quick release clamps all around replacing the screw in clamps of old, and the bike clamp mount is grooved so it doesn't slip and rotate around the mounting pole. Still the same solid build quality. Absolute bargain - get one quick if you're thinking about it!

Got mine at 8:30 this morning. They had about 10 left in Lincoln St Marks store when I got mine. Two other chaps then joined the queue behind me with one each. Cashier said that they had sold three already that morning. I was also stopped by three people as I was walking to work carrying mine, two of which were on bikes. All basically asked the same questions "Is that that Lidl bike stand?", swiftly followed by "How many have they got left?". The two chaps on bikes said that they were going pick one up now then. So they seem very popular.
I was going to buy the Bike Tool one of Ribble for £55. But in the end decided to chance the LIdl one. If it turns out to be rubbish, I will get a refund and then buy the one off Ribble.

Not opened the box yet. That is my lunchtime treat .
Has anybody any feedback regarding the wall brackets?
My work colleague needs one but does not want to buy "landfill".
I might return tonight to get some leggings. Are they any good? How is the sizing?

Parcel farce are wanting about £20 to send it from deepest, darkest Lincolnshire.
Maybe someone a bit closer might be a better bet.

I'd happily have paid more than double the price.

My wife picked one up for me this morning! Hope it has rubber feet so that I can use it indoors otherwise will only be able to use it outside on the two dry days per year!

7 in the Ipswich branch near Halfords / the Range at lunchtime.

Picked one up and put it down again, I already have one at home and almost brought one to keep at work but thought that might be excessive so decided not to!! Did get a couple of pairs of the shorts though for commuting.
