Just bought one of these, and it appears well worth twice what I paid for it. Very sturdy components, although the clamp is definitely a little odd. So far very pleased indeed. Anyone want me to post photos in the photo gallery?

Gosh, appears to be today's hot topic.

Can it be used with the clamp on the seat post or down tube? Looking to pick up one of these myself tonight, if my local store has any in stock.

You should never clamp your bike via the downtube. Folk do it and mostly get away with it, but the bike frame tubes are so thin that they're not designed for the level of squeezing done by the clamps.

You can swing the bike through 360 degrees ( although I haven't tried yet) I will pop some photo in the photo section.

Thanks for the warning Moodyman ... so what is the best place to clamp? Picture on the Lidl site shows it clamping the top tube - which wouldn't work as it would foul on the brake cables.

Actually, I was getting my tubes mixed up, and I meant the seat tube, as the gear cables run down the down tube.

Same in Lincoln. Both stores sold out early this morning.
Came out with some salami only. Doesn't hold the bike quite as well.
Kinda pisses me off, as work early, so by the time I get to the shop all the bits have gone.
Have no woman to go for me either, so kippered all roads up.

It seems pretty good to me, twice as good as one selling for twice as much I had a look at a few weeks ago. I went into the
Malvern store at 11 today and they still had about 6 or 7.

My wife was lucky enough to get to our local store early and we now own one.

Nice looking piece of kit, feels to be quite sturdy and the jaws open nicely so should be pretty easy to load the bike into.

It seems like our store only had 3, we got the first one.
