Leisure Lakes... a good store?

Hello I was just wondering if anybody has had any experience with Leisure Lakes store on Rochdale road*. I'm thinking about going tomorrow and just wondering about your (if any) past experience with the store.

I've done a quick search but didn't find much helpful posts on the subject.

I used to go to the one above Iceland in Bury when I lived in Rochdale. Always seemed good to me. Had good service too and a few bargains.

Much better than the local shop in Rochdale who was mega expensive and trashed a wheel supposedly fixing it!!

Yeah its on rochdale road in bury, not actually in rochdale.. right?

When I went there it was ok, but the staff member I spoke with did seem to cater his time to the people wanting to splash the cash.

No probs aJ, had me thinking there was more of them about until I checked their site. What are you looking at buying mate?

Well I'm just going out to check some bikes. I believe they have some Allez bikes and Trek 1.2's, so I'm just going to check them out, not buying anything yet, I will be getting my bike hopefully early next week. Just want to check a few local bike stores before I make my final decision.

If you like the trek's I recommend cookson cycles in whitefield - a very helpful bunch. Whitefield is adjacent to bury moving towards manchester, bury new road, M456GE. Good luck whatever you decide!

Bought a Specialized saddle from their online store recently. Best price I could find on tinterweb and no probs at all.

Just came back, seemed like a good store. The Allez i was looking at which was in my price range was a Allez (Sport?) 18 (2010 model)

Went Cookson Cycles today, they didn't seem to have Trek 1.2 model in stock which was the model within my price range. So I think I will be getting a Allez from Leisure Lakes (Forgot the exact model name in my range )
