Can you still buy the old fashioned type cycle leggings, the ones that came in two pieces. I know you can get walking chaps but I havent seen leggings for years.
Crotchless leggings. I'd be very careful of what search terms to use on Google
Closest thing I would think would be legwarmers (as above) or unpadded leggings.
edit: There are a few here who like rainlegs but I've never tried them myself
Thanks for the warning Piemaster, you tend to forget that there are pervs on the net. The rainlegs are what I am after but I would prefer a pair that go reach to the ankle.
I got a pair off a council worker last year. I asked him where he got them from and he went to cab of dustcart and said here have these. They are actually just like a pair of goretex tubes. I find them ideal to wear with bib shorts
If you said bottomless and not crotchless I would suggest these, which I have a pair of: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/eager-training-overtrousers-prod155/ I do not think Eager Sport have a web presence, but if you phone/write them you will find them helpfull (eg when I bought some of these trousers many years ago they made them 2 inches longer than standard for me !)
