See how you get on with them using your current pedals, if it solves the numbness, then job done.

Hi, I am a newbie! but on the few times I have been out on my bike I have finished the ride with numbness in both sets of toes, with pins and needles in my whole foot, I assume this is the toe clips but am not sure how that can be rectified. Maybe as people are suggesting its better to look at buying spds, I just ride in my trainers but don't think that can be the cause?

It basically said it is downto the size of the pedal ie smaller on the ball of foot can be caused by pressure but not likely shoes and don't move cleats too far can hurt knees

What?

They basically pointed out the obvious and printed it, great.

The size of pedal you can't really do much about, there are only a few to choose from, i.e. SPD, SPD-SL, Speedplay regarding clipless however I would agree that the make of shoe and size would play a bigger part.

Maybe you need harder shoes, so you can tighten the straps round the shoes without putting pressure on your feet.
