Just back from my first ride on the Viscount and it rides as well as all the other ones I have owned over the years .

A few little things that need sorting but it was good .

Can't decide on what colour bar tape .

Very nice to see it back on two wheels instead of hanging from a hook in the workshop. For the record l think black bar tape is the way to go, balances the black saddle and doesn't clash with th orange/yellow finish

The different colour combination might have something to do with it being from France .

Well i dragged the Viscount out of winter hibernation last weekend and have given it a couple of gentle rides around the block doing some adjustment's as i go around but i think we are at last ready for some longer rides .

oh and some bar tape watch this space

Sneaked out of the boro on this one earlier today and gave it a nice gentle sub 10 miles ride just doing a few more adjustments but i think we are ready for a few miles now

Bar tape fitted tonight old school ribbed type couldn't get any orange .

I turned the Viscount upside down last night just to check what version fork was fitted .

And this has the later version 3 type .
