I like Le Col too, great kit. One of my favourite brands along with Castelli, Santini etc.

My absolute favourite though are Castelli's with their Progetto X2 pads, very good.

Yes, 50% off in Merlin at the moment. Still a bit pricey for me at £125, though I do like Castelli stuff

I have some Le Col shorts (bought in the 50% off sale) very good.

I got an email this morning re their ARC Cargo Bib Shorts

"Ready for anywhere. The ARC Cargo Bib Shorts feature an integrated side and rear storage system, allowing for easy access storage.."

Those will be pockets then!

It’s great when you find a brand that has pads that are really comfy. Seems to be Assos for me.

Yep, Assos for me as well. I've ridden them for 25 years. This summer I bought a pair of Lusso Carbon and they're very good. I may stick with these.

I changed brands because Assos seem to have changed to bibs with what I call "braces." - see below. Most manufacturers, including Lusso, seem to have done this but the Lusso Carbon are still a full bib. That was the only reason to change.
