Was just about to post about this; some more on it
here.
Basically it seems like what everyone was expecting - with the changes made to the electric C-line bikes last year to allow 12sp gearing trickling down to the non-electric models.
Essentially it seems they've gone to a more P-line-like approach (perhaps the rear triangle is the same geometrically, just steel rather than Ti..?) to take the 4 speed (4-sprocket derailleur only) and 12 speed (3 speed hub and 4-sprocket derailleur).
I assume the current 2 and 6 speed efforts will be discontinued, or maybe demoted to the A-line range.
The only positives I can see are that the rear frame appears to be better-designed in terms of the roller setup / size / strength, while from the pricing on the yank site the difference in cost between 6 and 12sp models isn't utterly terrible at around 10%.
Seems that the parts are all backwards compatable, but probably prohibitively expensive given the amount of kit that would need replacing (triangle, hub, gears, shifters...).
While I'd not mind the additional gearing I wish they'd instead concentrated on making certain fundamental bits of the frame not eat themselves; while this part of the bike appears unchanged...
