I think they were stamped on the BB for ages, then they started being stamped on a plate on the BB in the 70s and by the very late 70's/80's they'd taken to stamping them on the frame again - mine has a serial number on the drive-side drop out on the back.70s Pugs usually had externally lugged frames and French threading from the ones I've seen. That is almost certainly 80s.
Check for a serial number. My understanding is that Peugeot didn't usually put one on until 1980.

I have had interest , but they do require packing and couriering , and tbh, I havent had the time to go to halfords to see if they have the nessecary packaging going spare.
