Last night's storm

We had heavy rain during the earlier hours which woke me up but i don't think there was any thunder or lightening and luckily by the time I commuted it was almost stopped.

4-00am.this morning i was up with ear ache taking my painkillers.What a storm.But the girls slept through it.Today not a bad day.

We had a pretty wild thunder storm at about 3AM last night ( we were awake anyway as my youngest wanted feeding).

Lots of lightning straight over the house and pretty impressive amounts of storm rain.

It must have been chucking it down as it flooded the garage. That has happened before but I dug a new soakaway and it has been fine since. The guttering must have been overwhelmed by the storm and flooded next to the back wall before tracking through the porous bricks.

It would take several inches of rain to do that, so Lord knows how much feel in that hour.

Nowt in my locale but on wed or thurs night it was irritating: storm kicked just at about 11pm.

We had a stomper of a storm here in Toulouse on Monday Night. Very similar to what Speicher described.
