Peugeot?

Personally I would never buy a car from a company that makes pepper grinders. However you should see my Maserati Crudities set. Rarely works, but always gets good attention from the ladies...

That spec looks pretty poor to me. I think for £300 i'd be looking for an early rock-hopper or similar rigid.

Do you think the bikes are made at Solihull? Or Halewood?

The one in the photo was made at Pashley in Stratford upon Avon.

The others are assembled at various LBS builders including Kelvin Cycles ( my old mate Steve ) in Cubbington, Leamington Spa.

The point being made was that you can get the same bike without having to pay a premium for the Land Rover (or Ferarri) name. Which is true - a plain Pashley copy of Moulton's APB was cheaper than the Land Rover badged one, if I remember right. there's no call to start banging on about putting people on your "idiot list".

I dont really know enough about bicycle components to spot a good deal or a bad deal and when i saw that the bike was nearly £200 cheaper than the RRP it looked a good deal and i really appreciate you all on here for checking the specs for me and i'l be steering clear of the Landrover

Thanks Again

..and at the time was some £120 more than the APB version in black with a Moulton badge!

For £300 you could buy a very, very special secondhand mountain bike here, probably something that cost the best part of £1000 when it was new.

Put up a wanted ad.
