It's very much about your shape. I was surprised how comfortable my muddy fox ones are. They just don't last as long as other makes.

I find the decathlon Lycra to be unforgiving (almost compression) and the pads to be a bit too large and bulky. (I have a few sizes before you say anything)I loved my DHB Aeron Race, but they are discontinued.
Decathlon has a good range, and you can try them on to see what suits you.
I just bought these ones from sigma sport. They are ok; good for 80km or so. Which is a pity as I was on a 100km ride (ouch!) http://www.sigmasport.co.uk/item/Specialized/RBX-Sport-Womens-Short/7RJM
<refresh to see what been posted. Waves to @vickster as I have nearly written the same thing as her, and she found the sigma shorts for me>
I have a Terry skort and a Terry undershortI don't like padding in my shorts and prefer to add in another layer as and when I want it, so I get my shorts/leggings from TLCsport. I did find some Sugoi undershorts but I can't seem to find them again.
Says the man who asked How does anyone actually do a 200 Km ride in one day ??Proper wimps these women......whats wrong with sand paper and a bit of germolene. Eye....when I were a lad !!!!
You know that "ho ha" and "nu-nu" are both slang for the same thing? That chamois cream has as explicit name as it could have, and still be stocked in shops children are allowed in.My missus uses Hoo-Ha on her Nu-Nu. View attachment 129745
