I did the four pass route on a 50-39-30 triple with an 11-28 cassette. I thought Newlands was the hardest as it seemed to go on forever and I loved the way the photographer was positioned at the top just before the last steep section. I had to walk a small section of Honister pass. The weather could have been better but a great ride.

Erm... too much, tbh. I think I first said above that my largest rear cog was 28... actually 24, and I had to walk for a bit on both Newlands and Honister. Whinlatter was fine though. Enjoyed the ride tremendously, especially as I have since read the reports on here of last year!!!
39*24 :ohmy: Wouldn't fancy Newlands or Honister on that! That's good going to only walk for a bit.
