I had a severe vitamin D deficiency that caused tiredness, poor immune system, lack of calcium absorption and stomach problems.
If in doubt see a doctor.

This and Vit B - very common in UK. Vit D is sunshine, and we don't get enough as we all cover up. Ideal to go buy some booster stuff, usually via USA and take it for a week, that sets you up for the year.

And add Vit K2 so that the calcium that the Vit D helps the body extract from your diet ends up in your bones and teeth rather than your arteries!

Vit D deficiency is actually rife in the UK. It never gets the headlines unless you are ill. Easy fix, and my missus has even got her pill popping parents on Vit B and D in addition to the crap the doc prescribes. They do feel much better. Me I haven't had much of it myself as I'm OK.

Take up knitting! The risk of stabbing yourself if you fall asleep on your knitting needles should keep you awake!
Seriously though, you are probably just not getting enough sleep. I fall asleep in front of the telly all the time in term time. This never happens in the holidays when I go to bed at the same time but just get up later. I'm just not very good at making myself go to bed early as I feel that I "deserve" a decent length evening!

If I sit on the sofa after work im a gonna for an hour or so . I don't sit on the sofa .
I put it down to being bored shitless so I go and do something and I am wide awake . Now the evenings are lighter I can go to the allotment for a few hours or go for a ride while we still have the sun out .
