So I took the road bike (Trek 1.7) in for a new chain, rear wheel truing and a rear cassette for a few hilly rides.

Job done same day, wheeled it home and thought no more of it.... Until tonight when I put it on the turbo!

Two rotations of the chainset had me off the bike looking for what the heck was causing such a clicky sensation through the pedals, to say it was as rough as a badgers arse would be putting it mildly!
It isn't the rear derailleur not aligned, that is good, but it feels like the chain isn't sitting properly...?..

Anyhow, one turbo session ended as soon as it started, and me heading to the lbs in the morning to ask what the heck?!

Anyone any ideas or just take it back and ask them to sort it?

Rant over, chill....

I'd take it back to lbs myself (having just spent a couple of months trying to fix a hub gear problem myself when I should have simply got lbs to do it).

Assuming nothing has been knocked out of place, eg front mech misaligned or brake block rubbing on the rim, have they fitted a chain that is not compatable with the cassette?
How worn are the chain rings? although not as important as the cassette, if badly worn it can cause problems.
The sensation you describe is normally associated with bottom bracket problems. its not unusual for this to appear suddenly, coincidence?

Chain threaded correctly, it is going back this morning... They are a good bunch at the shop so am sure they will sort it today...
