Quite a lot of wine left at my house (approx 30 bottles). It wasn't for lack of drinking, but I joined a wine club and got a bit carried away. Oh and then there was that 40% discount in Wine Rack, that 20% off in M&S... I did my best but I couldn't keep up.

alecstilleyedye: I think you should drink your mulled wine. It is colder now than it was at Yule/Christmas.

I have mates who actually have wine cellars.

They buy quantities of wine (reasonable so far), and then put it in the cellar for years and don't drink it.

Weird .

I have 30 bottles or so in my parents' cellar. I told my dad that I have a complete inventory and I'll kill him if he touches the claret.

I hadn't had a drink since July ish, until my birthday / christmas, had a few over the festive period, but had 2 cases of ale bought for me & haven't touched any yet If anyone fancies popping round for a lager or two, feel free

I didn't drink much more over xmas than I do normally. Unfortunately, this says more about the amount I drink normally than it does about my consumption over xmas.
