Sorry if I'm hijacking your thread, but has anyone tried the Endura FS260 Pro Slipstream jersey/jacket?

It looks like a good combo of jersey and windproof jacket without the flappy/sweaty jacket.

Your thoughts are correct. I bought one of these the other week. Done a 40 mile run in it with a base and SS Jersey underneath at about 8 degress. I also carried my Montagne lightweight as a back up but it wasent needed despite a cold wind.

The FS260 is flexible, it breaths well, and is a good in between from a heavy jacket. Its not waterproof but its not meant to be but it does have a layered part (like an in build Gillet) to keep the wind off and straight jersy where you want to breath.

I bought a large so I could wear another couple of layers underneath but so far i havent needed it.

It also matches my new bike

To the OP. I have worn a Montagne Fetherweight through the entire winter which included riding in the snow in minus temps. I have had a base on as well as one ore maybe 2 LS jerseys and this set up has meant that I have not needed a heavy weight jacket this year

personally I would say yes. But we are all different. I am known for overdressing on CC rides and I would only wear a featherweight jacket over my jersey in the current weather mainly to keep the wind and rain off and probably get too hot through the ride. What I would say though is what ever you get now will last you to the winter.
