Had my umpteenth jab yesterday as I’m in the special group, arm is a bit sore but otherwise no ill effects. I’d much rather risk mild symptoms after a jab than have a bad case or long covid.
2021's been on the phone. Wants it's lurgy back but you can keep the traffic.

I must find out what that is here in France. I've seen general public announcements for flu injections for the elderly but am unaware of anything for Covid. It must be there, I've just not clocked it.
Edit: the 2025 campaign starts Monday apparently. It's aimed at the over 80s and/or those in retirement homes, those with compromised immune systems, and those deemed at high risk. I'm not in those categories.
I'm always late to the party, I'm so last whatever. I feel rubbish, I thought it a combo of flu and sinusitis but was at a complete loss as to exactly what it was or where I'd picked it up. As we had a test kit (6 months out of date but thought I'd try it out anyway) I decided to use it.
As to where I picked it up, the only place I can figure is the medical centre! I had a blood test done there.
I'll do another test obviously, with an indate kit this time.
I've been banished to the spare room![]()
It is over 65's here in the UK (and that means you will be over 65 by the end of the "season" - COVID and Flu jabs are both given in the autumn, with the peak season for both being December - March).
NHS England says it's for the over 75's. I'm over 65 and haven't been offered it.

Would you proffer a 2nd opinion @yello?
the symptoms were unsettling.
I rather suspect that I've picked up a sinus infection.
Whenever I bend over, I have an unpleasant smell in my nose.
Googled it, and that is a symptom.
