I've done my first long ride

I think you need to re-asses your annual target there Snail otherwise you'll have nothing to achieve after after April

Don't worry, I have eventual plans for a 90-100 miles ride to Shell Island in Wales (my usual holiday spot)

keep it up, i'm doing around 55 miles a weeka t the moment which include a 30 mile sunday ride, really good feeling when your knocking up the miles isint it?

i'm just happy with the progress ive made

I managed another long ride last Saturday. I followed the extended route I posted through Norbury and back into Nantwich. I had to go back into Crewe because of a broken spoke, Nantwich bike shop was closed, a botched repair but better than nothing.

The whole ride ended up being 30 miles in total. I don't think I'll be getting in any rides in this weekend, the bike is in for repairs tomorrow and I don't know if I can be bothered to do anything on Sunday.
