Surely sport in itself is a leisure interest for most of us? Anyone who uses a bike for anything but getting from a to b is a leisure cyclist.

When I went to sports world in Brent Cross recently, I found some fishing rods and tackle hidden in one of the corners.

Now that's a true sport !!

That must be right. There's a world of difference between someone taking a Sunday walk by the river and an Olympic race walker.

JD's is a clothes shop for chav's in'it..... for the sport of loutish behaviour and robbing grannies....

.........I asked one of the spotty 17yr old assistants in JD sports today if they stocked cycle clothing, to which he responded "no mate we only do sports stuff"

This has always puzzled me. Why do "sports" shops, JJB, JD all the local ones cater for just about every type of sport except cycling? I know we have our own specialist shops but why aren't the likes of JJB trying to muscle in?

My local jjb has a few bikes,and accesories,but also has loads of pub sport stuff.

why bother even going in shops like JJB? All they sell is fake or last year's footie shirts and chav accessories.

When you're being stressed to anger by clip-board survey people, charity collectors and beggars, JJB is a haven if you just want to be purposefully ignored and I can't recommend it enough.
