Glad to hear it...but why not use the road bike for work and spend the £200 on beer and mince pies?

The Roadie is Carbon Fibre, dont want it melting on me half way home if it gets wet or a bit of salt from the road touches it, and with various discounts and the Halfords sale I got it for £113 which is cheaper per Kilo than a Whole Foods turkey

Yup, the only silver lining to having a bike stolen is getting to buy a new bike

After it happened to me I had a moment, but now, just two days later, I'm planning some serious bike shopping
After all, if I didn't have multiple bikes I couldn't have gone to work the day after mine was stolen

P.S. Wouldn't worry about the weight, my Pashley is heavier with only 5 gears and most hills conquerable
