I’ve already booked the family pantomime.

It's a thing, not just in music. Huge market, recently exacerbated by Covid and nobody wants to miss out on it.

Mariah will be number one, unless a Ukrainian band has done a cover.

It won't snow either.

Events large and small are marketed well in advance depending on scale, availability and demand. Why anyone thinks something as competitive as the Christmas market is any different is beyond me.

Seems it’s more about the timings than anything else to me.

Films too.
My eldest was an extra in the film Get Santa. Filming was in May.
My youngest was furious because the production company needed them to be 16 or over and they missed out by two weeks!
