Thats 1 ride with clipless pedals and 0 clipless moments.

Not a particularly long ride but already impressed (I think) I have fitted Shimano SPD-SL pedals, the cleats are the yellow ones, the float felt a little strange at first but I soon got used to that. Was 20 seconds quicker up a nearby climb, probably too early to say it's down to going clipless though.

Longer ride tomorrow I think to see how I get on.

Sounds like a great start - but beware - the clipless moment is lurking, waiting to strike when you least expect. I was feeling very smug, having gone clipless 2 months ago without any moments, only to have a moment riding to the start of Ride London !!
Tell us how you get on after the long ride.

I have lol a lot of them..but i love clipless...

its harder for scum bags to nick ya bike when you crash too ,as its stuck to your leg..

This is true, but also has the unfortunate side effect of making you look like you're fighting your bike as you attempt to unclip and right the machine.

Most undignified!

Never had a clip less moment .Had plenty (not strictly clip les) when I rode toe clips and toe straps particularly when riding up hill on fixed strapped in up a hill on gear to big for the gradient

Same here, never had one in 3 years.

Strangely i did have one when I was using the bike with flat pedals, if thats possible. I just forgot to take my feet off and toppled onto my garden after a ride.
