Well worth tracking down the whole of this album - lots of interesting takes/reworkings of classic Christmas songs. This one's my personal favourite, but hearing Jingle Bells in a spooky minor key, a steel pedal guitar version of Silent Night and a lounge singer/Hammond organ combo doing White Christmas are amongst the highlights.
Savatage - Christmas Eve, Sarajevo. This song is part of the Dead Winter Dead concept album about the siege of Sarajevo and based on the Carol of the Bells. It was inspired by the story of Vedran Smailović, who played the cello in bombed out places during the siege. View: https://youtu.be/6UfRqJjeLsQ
