I went out last night and did a quick 20k with the tyre pumped up at 120PSi (which my backside didn't thank me for) and all seems well. It doesn't seem to have become any worse, but I'll keep and eye on it and probably bin the tyre off when it's had a little more wear.
It would get binned of quicker if road tyres weren't so ruddy expensive. They seem to cost more than MTB (and my car) tyres

In context my tyres must have years left on them. Only time I have seen them that bad is when you used to be skidding everywhere as a kid.

I'll defer to @Yellow Saddle on this but I would note that I've had blowouts resulting from similar looking wear all round the tyre right next to the bead. I can't tell from the pics whether "similar" is "the same" but here's my thread on the subject https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/durano-plus-failure.233754/
