I had an 83' Fiat Panda. From new I did 60000 miles, At an annual Service+MOT, I was advise to change the front brake pads. I looked at their quote and gasped at the parts price. Well, says Young mechanic 'How much did you pay last time?'
Me, 'What last time? They are the originals!'
I could tell he didn't believe me, but it was true.
The new pads were just the same as the old ones as to pressure on pedal and stopping power.
