Is this front derailleur supposed to look like this?

I just bought this derailleur off eBay. I've never had this model of derailleur before (Shimano Tiagra 4400). It looks like the cage is bent, as both the inner and outer faces of the cage seem to curve outwards. The Tiagra 4500 triple and 105 5600 triple that I currently have on my bikes seem to have a straight cage. Does anyone know if the derailluer is supposed to be like this? It only cost 99p so not a huge loss if I need to get another, but I'd rather know if it's damaged before I fit it onto my bike! Thanks

Looks ok to me - cant really see much bend n photo, but can be bent back if needs be

To me too. If it had been bent that shape it would be rather more irregular I would have thought.

It looks like its bend to me, but both sides are even so it looks ok.

Yep, looks like it's supposed to be there. Perhaps it is supposed to transition more easily or something. Try it out and see.
