not very specific in what you want!
if you are after a TT winning carbon bike with disc wheels and a bit of velodrome use then no it is completely wrong! but if you are looking for a mid range MTB with a 7005 alu frame hard tail and 26inch rims then it might be suitable!
immediately i notice that i have never heard of that brand before which isn't something i would want to part £800 with just for that reason alone
now i am not going to say it is awful as it has 26 inch rims and i am not going to say it is awesome because it has 26 inch rims as that is personal choice but does make a huge difference, so are you sure it is 26inch rims you want?
and you definitely want a hard tail?

also it does not use any shimano or compag parts as far as i can see and the only brand i recognise on the component list is sun tour on the forks. that is because my old front mech was sun tour......i scrapped it it was crap
also from reading the reviews the wheels seem utter sh**e!

I need a mtb for the summer. I have a specialized hybrid race bike. I know my bike brands like I know my Pringle flavours. I was getting a second, third, and forth opinion from you guys

You just don't buy a bike from Littlewoods; it's plain wrong!
^THIS^

If you Google 'Lombardo Sestriere 500' and look at the places you can buy from you will see, (hopefully at least), that not one of them is a respected bicycle retailer. The list looks like this;

Amazon
Very.co.uk
Wilko
Ebay
Tesco  etc, etc.

So please, do yourself a favour and visit your LBS. You'll get sound buying advice, (and loads of it), the chance to sit on it, (not look at a picture), and the option to build a long lasting and always helpful relationship with them*

*not all LBS's are equal though, so if you go to one and don't get the above, then go to another, simple

If I was spending £800 I think I'd be paying a visit to a bike shop. They will be able to advise what kind of bike best suits your intended use, and how much to budget. Just a quick look at Evans Cycles website suggests they have quite a few hard tails in that price range.

Where are the specs? I wouldn't bother with it, in fact you'd be a fool to buy it, 800 quid will get you a lot of bike but not that one.

What a rip off littlewoods is, after 30seconds I found the OP's first choice bike saving over £200 at Tesco's...think I'd stick with vicksters advice
