Is the snow really that bad?!

well the snow has not been falling heavy where I live, the problem is that its been snowing almost constantly for 4 days and the councils running out of grit. All the main roads are clear but many smaller ones are just left covered in snow and because its quite a rural area, this causes some problems for travelling and the local economy.

The snow didn't stop me going to work and doing the recycling round. We had nice clear roads as all the schools were closed.

I'm not looking forward to the freezing temps next week, my left hand and foot both felt really cold. I have a bad circulation anyway, but still don't understand why only my left side was affected.
