A heavy but consistent blue bias yesterday. Equally strong a green bias today.

The blurb does explain how ambient lighting and other factors affect perceptions, but to make such a difference surprised me, so maybe i'm also going blind.

Good to hear!

Suppose it could be screen settings or something else.

Son and i have been looking. Under todays viewing conditions i was 'normal' and he had a heavy green bias.

But he could correctly see the famous dress colours. To me the 'blue' looked as white as the unprinted side of this tea towel

To him it looked as dark blue as the label of these fish. Witchcraft!

I know. I was hoping that he saw light blue; that wouldn't seem quite so far removed from my perception. It's distressing how borked my brain must be.

Well I'm too polite to offer my opinion of Aldi, but I like Lidl.
Sains is my first choice of supermarket, but I find that Lidl often match Sains for quality (especially meat and fish), whilst undercutting on price
If Lidl had a wider product range and did a bit better with quality of fruit & veg, I'd happily shop there all the time.

I love the waitrose near my daughter's piano lessons; very convenient for a mid-week shop. It's the best supermarket for fruit & veg, but even their standards have fallen in the last 10-20 years. I don't think there's enough appreciation/demand for decent fruit & veg in this country.
