Is Jenny Eclair - funny ?

I wouldn't say she's funny. But I doubt many comedians are. Is it just me or are all the best ones dead?

That's a bit unfair. You never watched Keeping Up Appearances? Patricia Routledge was sublime. Pauline McLynn in Father Ted? Prunella Scales in Faulty Towers?

Ah but she is a bloke so that rules her out. Now I find Billy Connelly quite funny and I believe that his stage shows are totaly unscripted but some of these so called comedians I wouldn't give you tuppenny hap'th for.
