That's actually the recipe I use! It was in the Tesco magazine a while back and gets trotted out regularly. It's lovely with either grilled fish or lamb.

Although I do like a higher ratio of lentils to rice, so that's the only tweak I make.

It's also a good way of using up leftover rice. One doesn't always want an egg fried rice / kedgeree / nasi goreng...

@Dave7 the Ms uses lentils on curries to bulk them out and in broths....I can ask her for the recipe if you want?
She's a decent cook however the recipe will need rejigging to your own tastes as she has a habit of "whats in the cupboard" method of throwing things in and seasoning to taste.
