Built as a time trial bike pre aero days. Short wheelbase with a single chainring close ratio block. If the brakes are original the the cable runs date it about early eighties.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Thanks for that @biggs682 - from the advert it's in Middlesbrough and is £750. Description from the FB group:

"very rare Greaves of Whitby twin tube steel bike in as new condition. Few things of note are the twin tube seat tube and the short wheel base of 35 inches. TA cranks. Camp front shifter. 6 speed. San Marco Titanio saddle. 23 and a half inch c to t seat tube, 22 inch c to c seat tube and 20 and a half inch c to c top tube. Cinelelli bars. Think it was probably used for crits but perfectly usable as a road bike but with a little bit of care. Downsizing my collection of bikes."

It looks a very short wheelbase for such a tall frame so handling will be interesting:

As i posted on the retrobike link a few years back, that frame was built in the basement of Blenkeys, the Whitby cycle-cum toy shop I bought my first "proper" bike from.

I'm not sure I can justify £750 for the sentimental interest. looks like it would be a lively ride with that super short wheelbase and toe overlap central! Beautiful colour though!

I saw this for sale last night.

Not sure what the advantages are of that rear end or the short wheelbase but it's a really quirky design. Bet there isn't much tolerence for a buckled wheel.
