So after spending the last year and a half playing around on my hardtail. I realised I was spending more and more time doing long distances on the road (okay so longest I've gone is only 64 miles, but that was on nobblies).

This has meant I've decided to rescue my Dad's old road bike (a Falcon Corsa with gears on the downtube

) from the ceiling of his garage. It looks in fairly good nick but needs new inner tubes, at least one new tyre and a bit of TLC.

However when looking at inner tubes the sizes go from 18-25 and 25-35. As I'm looking at getting some 25mm innertubes (the current good/unused tyre is 700x25) I can't work out which is better to go for? 18-25 or 25-35?

Any recommendations/preferences you guys have?

Use 18-25. You'll struggle to get the wider ones inside the tyre without pinching them.
