Injured cyclist 'deliberately' struck in York hit-and-run

Horrible and no doubt only a slim chase of finding the driver.There was also a cyclist injured by a car on the A659 at Harewood.
Reminds of the polices logic on precisely to the anniversary of a cycling fatality on the A658 stopping drivers and asking if they were driving along the road a year ago. No I pointed out as today is a Tuesday and a year ago was not and I only drove along that road at that time of day on a Tuesday.

This is a regular run for me, not far from home. Makes you think how sick some people really are, and is all the more depressing when it’s on your doorstep.

Disgusting, however the car has probably come from the A19/A64 where I'm sure there are traffic cameras, so it shouldn't be to difficult to find the car prior to it going on to the B1222 into Naburn
