Inherited Ricci Bike

I have just inherited a Ricci Audax Bike, can anyone tell me how good these are?? I want to know if it's worth me spending lots of money on it.

Found this on C.C.http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/sold-ricci-italian-road-bike.63897/ It is Italian so can't be that bad. If the frame is in good condition it may well be worth forking out a few bob on upgrades.
