Why, is it not particularly sturdy and something to be careful in using?

I was about to post in its defence (always been perfect for me) only to find that the little foot is now floating around in the bottom of my pannier! Twiddle twiddle of the bolt, and its fixed. I guess it can slowly undo itself if used enough. Now nail varnished and ready for action (just like me).

I think if you're vaguely careful about how you use it, it will give years of perfect service.

Dell is great *on* the bike, but you wouldn't want him trying to help you with fixing one. Almost every time I've ridden with him, he's had to arrange for an entourage of TECs to follow him, and even a simple task like fitting mudguards scares him so much he's prohibited anyone from attempting it near him ;)

Sadly I tend to have a habit of blowing inner tubes up (i.e.- bang) if not using a handpump. lol. It didn't help that the readings on my old footpump were often incorrect.

I went to my local bike shop in Crewe (Supreme Cycles) to have a look at what saddlebags they offer and saw one of the Topeak Road Morph pumps for sale, the one with gauge. It is was slightly more expensive than the one of Wiggle, £29.99, but I bought it anyway just because it was there in front of me and I had the money.

I have to say it looks the business, indefinitely better made than my frame fit pump and so much easier to use. I have just got home and let one tyre down to see how hard it was to pump up from flat. It got from 0 to 120psi (according to the gauge) no problem, just took slightly longer than the track pump due to the barrel size. I finally have a pump I can trust to get me back up to pressure in an emergency and continue on a ride without fear of pinch flats

I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a mini pump to take on their bike on day rides and commutes, it is very light and only takes up one set of bottle cage bosses. I would definitely not leave it attached to the bike when going into a shop in case someone nabs off with it.
I would also recommend Supreme Cycles for their good service, friendly attitude and their large selection of good products, I could easily spend an hour in the shop looking at bikes and parts.

I used to use Co2 but I've given up on it after being let down by the attachment or the cylinders so now I've got one of these and frankly they're ....BRILLIANT....

Attaches via the bottle cage screws by the way..

+1 for those LEZYNE pumps. I have a slightly different one but it is first class, some may say a little on the pricey side.

But it worth paying in the knowledge it will not let you down.
