Inexpensive 700x28mm tyres

Was going to buy a pair of Rubinos in 28 but there seems to be a lack of stock ?
Where as the Zaffirios are easier to come by,anyone any views on them as a winter tyre.

Price has gone up but good tyres for £18

i came off on newish 25mm Zaffiro pros on a greasy corner last winter. I wouldn’t personally choose again! (And now replaced by Rubinos!)
