And what is your goal Colin?

Top 30, so the harder everyone else works, that harder I have to work

I think my actual goal is to not start driving to work as soon as it gets a bit cold.

I'm going to aim for 250 this month. Which doesn't sound that ambitious but I'm not going to have much chance for evening/weekend rides in October.

The 12 mile one was to warm up before breakfast. She's off out on the 100 mile main event right now .. wait until later, when she gets round to logging it.

It can be an encouragement if you record your car mileage and cycle mileage. Then calculate the monthly percentage of the total that you cover on your bike. Strive to increase this percentage, by cycling more and driving less, and your health and fitness will improve as your petrol bills go down.
It worked for me.

I've cycled far more miles than I've driven this year. It's a bit skewed though, I wouldn't ever take the long way home from work because the weather's nice or just go out for a drive at the weekend (unless it was planning a cycle route!)

I've probably saved about £100 on petrol, which is nothing compared to what I've spent on the bike and gear, but I've lost two stone and am a lot fitter. Most importantly, I enjoy it.

Will do - but would hate to bring the averages down

I doubt you would lower it more than me... I just wish I was into double figures so that it didn't show up so much:biggrin:. But I've put in my miles and I'm 4th just for a while:thumbsup:.
