Why do they feel the need to overtake on corners? it does my head in! 4 seconds of the line and the car starts beeping. Madness!
No point and needlessly bureaucratic- people know how to drive to pass a test but doesn't mean they apply what they know they should do all the time.... any more than some cyclists do.I think regular tests would be great.
The real reason is because they want to disgiuse the fact that they have a small manhood. In the case of women, they just want to be one of the boys. Why do they feel the need to overtake on corners? it does my head in! 4 seconds of the line and the car starts beeping. Madness!
Are you serious, so if a cyclist comes out of a side turning into a main road at speed into a car doing 30 mph on Max 40 mph road its the drivers fault. Or how about the idiots who go up the inside of lorries at traffic lights.Change the law...make it simple for these morons to understand.
Make it so.that no matter what, if they collide with a bikeit is
Automatically deemed their fault. They have the option to drivesliw and wait
Until it is safe to pass...99% choose to ignore that option.
At that point they become liable for their decision. Make it simple..
Hit a bike and go to jail...zero tolerance.
Assumed liability does not mean that there is no defence, just that no driving fault has to be established. Are you serious, so if a cyclist comes out of a side turning into a main road at speed into a car doing 30 mph on Max 40 mph road its the drivers fault. I am all for coming down hard on dangerous drivers but automatic bkame for any incident is ludictous
Please excuse my ignorance but please explain the above or is it a guilty until proved innocent type of thing?Assumed liability does not mean that there is no defence, just that no driving fault has to be established.
I'm happy to admit that I'm no expert on the law and there may well be a degree of validity in claiming that it's a reversal of the principles of criminal law. However, we now have inadequate protection for killing or seriously injuring cyclists. I got hit by a vehicle which drove on 2 days ago and I just showed my fury at the next lights because I know that without witnesses that stopped and a low priority in terms of police interest I have no effective defence. In the event, I only got a bruised hand and a scuffed brand new glove, but if something serious had happened to me, I'm not sure the driver would ever get commensurate punishment. Please excuse my ignorance but please explain the above or is it a guilty until proved innocent type of thing?
