Hey - I forgot Yankee Burger

Is the Waterfront nightclub still going - spent many a night holed up in there

I used to see Roland Gift from the Fine Young Cannibals doing Tai-Chi in Pearson Park every morning on the way to work (I was on the way to work - he was doing Tai-Chi)

See how interesting it all is (and they had yellow phone boxes)

I lived in Hull for 5 years and found it had a (pub) culture all of its own! It's not bad as places go, lots of pubs, places to eat etc. There are not many incomers but once they accept you, you are definitely made to feel at home. Not the worst city I have lived in but by the time I left I was craving hills (being Scottish). Handy for Whitby, York & Leeds.

Its a dump tbh. Went up there for a few days to visit a mate and they had the cheek to take the pi** out of me because I live in "Dorrrrrrrrsssseeettt"....as they called it. lol

Once you get past Wiltshire they all talk funny dont they

I lived in Beverley (just north of Hull) for a couple of years. I could recommend Beverley rather than Hull itself, but there are some nice districts to the west of the city centre. Beverley is also on the train line ' in t 'Ull '.
