For the brief time I met Robbie he seemed a very nice enthusiastic young chap, go easy ladies gents.

I wasn't that well still at the time and was crawling on the bike after being ill for 6 month but in the short ten minutes or so he seemed a nice bloke maybe a little naïve. Just saying. Some of his enthusiasm rubbed off on me that day cannot deny that and I was at a low ebb physically and mentally. He was bursting with the things he had done on the bike and dying to tell me what the future plans were, never once mentioned sponsorship. :-)



I did stop to lend him my pump though as he didn't have one, sorry Robbie LOL

Just joined the forum; opened this thread to advertise himself; concluded by saying:

Would love to chat to more cyclists and give any advice if needed and learn some more myself.

And was never seen again. Possible he's on a long trip. otherwise not chatting much, giving no advice, presumably not learning much.

It's OK, he never came back to read them. Thought mine (#6) was friendly enough, though he didn't answer any questions or offer advice.
